Ethnic Daingnet Maung Hlaing Myint Aung, son of U Phyu Maung, living in Aungzu Village, Maungtaw Township, Rakhine State, went to Khamaungseik Village for some shopping at about 9 am on 8 October, and he did not come back till 5 pm. So, his father and villagers carried out a search of him and found him dead about 2,000 meters northeast of Tonechaung Village at about 9:25 pm. The victim sustained one cut on the left side of his neck and two cuts on his occiput.
