Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation led by Chief Engineer Mr. Long Hong Shan of the State Administration for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence of the People’s Republic of China at the Parlour of Bayintnaung Villa, here, at 9.30 am yesterday.
Also present at the call were Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Mya Tun Oo and senior military officers of the Office of the Commanderin- Chief (Army). The Chinese Chief Engineer was accompanied by Chinese Military Attaché to Myanmar Senior Colonel Xiong Shaowei and officials.
At the meeting, they frankly discussed the role of conducting research tasks for development of the nation, and cooperation in military technology between the two armed forces of the two countries.
After the meeting, the Senior General and the Chinese Chief Engineer exchanged gifts and posed for documentary photo together with delegation members.
