Senior General Min Aung Hlaing to attend 13th ASEAN Chiefs of Defence Forces Informal Meeting

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing leaves for Laos to attend the 13th ASEAN Chiefs of Defence Forces Informal Meeting.

A military delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left the Nay Pyi Taw International Airport for Laos this morning to attend the 13th ASEAN Chiefs of Defence Forces Informal Meeting-13th ACDFIM to be held in Vientiane of Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

The Senior General and party were seen off at the airport by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in- Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, senior military officers of the Office of the Commanderin- Chief, the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command and Laotian Ambassador to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar H.E. Mr. Lyying Sayaxang.

The meeting will take place from 13 to 15 March 2016. During the period of meeting, the Senior General will hold separate meetings with ASEAN Chiefs of Defence Forces. (100)
