Vice-Senior General Soe Win receives Ambassador of Switzerland to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Paul R. Seger at the parlour of Bayintnaung Villa.

Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win received Ambassador of Switzerland to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Paul R. Seger, who will be returning home as his tour of duty has been completed, at the parlour of Bayintnaung Villa here yesterday morning.
Also present at the call together with the Vice-Senior General were senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army). The Swiss Ambassador was accompanied by Deputy Head of Mission of Swiss Embassy Mr. Giacomo Solari and officials.
At the call, they cordially discussed Switzerland’s continued cooperation and assistance in Myanmar’s internal peace process and the signing of the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA), training affairs, Tatmadaw’s shouldering of national defence duties in accord with the existing disciplines, rules, orders and laws, welcoming the ethnic armed organizations which have yet to sign the NCA and dissemination of information about real situations over the Rakhine State issue wherever assigned.
After the meeting, the Vice-Senior General presented a gift to the Swiss Ambassador.
