Senior General Min Aung Hlaing arrives in Venice, Italy

The Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Commander- in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, currently on a working goodwill visit to Brussels, Belgium, left Brussels International Airport at 9.50 am local standard time today for Venice, Italy. The delegation was seen off by Myanmar Ambassador to Belgium and the European Union U Paw Lwin Sein and officials.

The Senior General and delegation members arrived at Venice at 10.15 am local standard time and were welcomed at the airport by Myanmar Ambassador to Italy U Myint Naung and officials.

The Senior General’s tour of Italy is also a working goodwill visit. He is due to visit industries in Italy and meets military leaders including the Italian Chief of the Defence Staff.
