Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing leaves for Republic of India



Nay Pyi Taw July 8

A Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left Nay Pyi Taw International Airport at 8 am today at the invitation of Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff Committee of the Indian Armed Forces Admiral Sunil Lanba.

The Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by the Senior General was seen off at the airport by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Tin Aung San and wife, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Khin Aung Myint and wife, senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and their wives, the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, Indian Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Vikram Misri and officials.

The Senior General was accompanied by his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, Lt-Gen Soe Htut of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the commander of Northern Command and the commander of North-West Command. During the goodwill visit, the delegation will hold meetings with the Indian government and officials of the Indian Armed Forces, meet with the Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff Committee of the Indian Armed Forces to talk about friendly relations and cooperation between the two armed forces of the two countries, and visit significant places, military training schools and headquarters and heavy industries.

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing being seen off at Nay Pyi Taw International Airport by senior military officers, Indian Ambassador to Myanmar H.E.Mr.Vikram Misri and officials.
