Senior General Min Aung Hlaing meets ASEAN Chiefs of Defence Forces who will attend 14th ACDFIM

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who is in Manila, the Philippines, to attend the 14th ASEAN Chiefs of Defence Forces Informal Meeting-ACDFIM, met with Chiefs of Defence Forces from ASEAN countries separately yesterday afternoon.

The Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met the delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Lao People’s Armed Forces Maj.Gen.Souvone LEUANGBOUNMY, the delegation led by Chief of Defence Forces of the Royal Thai Armed Forces Gen. Surapong Suwanaadth, the delegation led by Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Gen. Eduardo M. Ano, the delegation led by Chief of the Defence Force of the Singapore Armed Forces Defence Force Lt. Gen. Perry Lim and the delegation led by Commander of Indonesian National Armed Forces Gen. Gatot Nurmantyo on separate occasions. During the meetings, both sides discussed bilateral friendship and bilateral cooperation in defence, anti-terrorism and security.

After the meetings, the Senior General exchanged commemorative emblems with the Chiefs of Defence Forces from ASEAN countries.
