Senior General Min Aung Hlaing meets State Secretary of the Federal Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany Dr.Markus EDERER.

The Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, currently on an official goodwill visit in Germany, held a meeting with State Secretary of the Federal Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany Dr. Markus EDERER at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin at 11 am local standard time on 28 April.
Also present at the call were Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Mya Tun Oo and senior military officers, Myanmar Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany Daw Yin Yin Myint and Myanmar Military Attaché (Army,Navy and Air) Brig-Gen Aung Kyaw Moe. The German State Secretary was accompanied by officials of the Federal Foreign Office.
At the meeting, the Senior General explained the purpose of his visit to promote friendly relations and cooperation between the two armed forces of Germany and Myanmar,and the relations between the two armed forces would contribute towards friendly ties between the two countries. He also discussed democratization processes in Myanmar,peace-making processes and situations of border region.
Next, the German State Secretary said he took pride of taking opportunities to hold the meeting. He expressed his firm belief for further strengthening relations and cooperation between the two armed forces. He explained many plans to provide assistance for Myanmar in necessary areas.
After the meeting, the Senior General and the German State Secretary posed for documentary photo after exchanging emblems.
