One escapes, one found dead out of three captured by KIA, TNLA and MNDAA

One of the three men abducted by the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) and the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) and the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) from the Oriental Highway toll gate near the village of Namphatlon in Kutkai Township has escaped, said the Information Committee of the State Counsellor’s Officesaid yesterday.

Kyaw Zin Oo was able to escape, but a second man, U Tint Naing, was found dead near the grove of Namphatlon Tuesday afternoon with bullet wounds to his head, back and stomach, the information committee said. 

The third man is still being searched for, it is learnt.
