Suspected attackers detained in Maungtaw

Thirten people suspected of involvement in the attack on the Kyikanpyin Border Guard Police Command Centre were detained by security forces in Warpake and Ooshekya villages yesterday, according to the Information Committee of the State Counsellor’s Office.

Two of the suspects, Einu and Eryu, were detained at Warpake Village and 11 others, including Shar Arlong, were arrested in Ooshekya Village in the morning. The suspects will be handed over to border guard police and action will be taken against them according to the law.
