Political Commissar of Yunnan Military Region hosts dinner to Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation

A dinner was hosted in honour of the Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Commander-in- Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing who is on a goodwill visit to China by Maj. Gen. Yu Kun, Political Commissar of Yunnan Military Region at Zhongwei Hotel Ballroom in Kunming at 6.30 pm local standard time yesterday.

Also attending the dinner together with the Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation were senior officers of the People’s Liberation Army and Yunnan Military Region. First, Maj.Gen. Yu Kun extended greetings in honour of the delegation in welcoming it. He, then, enjoyed the dinner together with all the attendees in a cordial atmosphere.

After the dinner, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing thanked the hosts for their hospitality, stressing the need to forge bilateral cooperation through understanding and awareness for further strengthening friendship at the common border. Later, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and Maj. Gen. Yu Kun exchanged gifts and posed for a group documentary photo.
