Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing held country-wise bilateral talks with military chiefs of ASEAN countries who would attend the 13th ASEAN Chiefs of Defence Forces Informal Meeting in Vientiane, Laos at Landmark Mekong Riverside Hotel yesterday afternoon.
Present together with the Senior General at the separate meetings were members of the Myanmar military delegation. The Senior General held talks with delegation led by Chief of the Defence Forces of Royal Thai Armed Forces Gen. Sommai Kaotira, delegation led by Chief of General Staff of Lao People’s Armed Forces Maj.Gen.Souvone LEUNGBOUNMY, delegation led by Vice Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Lt.Gen.Romeo T Tanalgo, delegation led by Chief of the General Staff of Vietnam People’s Armed Forces Gen. Do Ba Ty, delegation led by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Royal Cambodian Armed Forces Gen.Eth Sarath, and delegation led by Chief of Staff of Royal Brunei Armed Forces Maj.Gen. Pehin Modh Tawih Bin Abdullah separately and discussed mutual friendship, defence and security cooperation.
After the meetings followed souvenir exchange programs and documentary photo sessions. (100)
