Senior General Min Aung Hlaing receives Ambassador of Switzerland to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Paul R. Seger at the parlour of Bayintnaung Villa.

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Ambassador of Switzerland to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Paul R. Seger, who will be returning home as his tour of duty has been completed, at the parlour of Bayintnaung Villa here this morning.
Also present at the call together with the Senior General were Lt-Gen Soe Htut from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and senior military officers. The Swiss Ambassador was accompanied by embassy officials.
At the call, they cordially dis-cussed good relations between the two countries, the relations and cooperation between Myanmar’s armed forces and international armed forces, Myanmar’s pursuance of democracy, efforts of the government and the Tatmadaw for internal peace, the need for the international community to know real situation over the incidents that happened in Rakhine State, and promotion of bilateral relations between the two countries.
After the meeting, the Senior General presented a gift to the Swiss Ambassador.
