Senior General Min Aung Hlaing holds talks with H.E. Mr. Yohei SASAKAWA, President of Nippon Foundation and Japanese government’s Special Envoy for Myanmar’s national reconciliation.

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received H.E. Mr. Yohei SASAKAWA, President of Nippon Foundation and Japanese government’s Special Envoy for Myanmar’s national reconciliation, at Bayintnaung Parlour here at 3 pm yesterday.
Also present at the call together with the Senior General were Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navyand Air) General Mya Tun Oo and senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army).The Japanese special envoy was accompanied by Japanese Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Tateshi HIGUCHI.
Both sided cordially discussed the relations and cooperation between the two militaries of Myanmar and Japan, speeding up of Myanmar’s peace process for its success and regional development in armed conflict areas.
After the call, the Senior General and the special envoy took a documentary photo together with those present.
