Senior General Min Aung Hlaing holds talks with EU Military Committee Chairman General Mikhail Kostarakos.

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing who is in Brussels, Belgium to attend the European Union Military Committee-EUMC Meeting at the level of Chiefs of Defence (CHODs), met  with European Union Military Committee Chairman General Mikhail Kostarakos, at the latter’s office at 9.30 am local standard time on November 7.

At the call, both sides cordially exchanged views on the exchange of goodwill visits and promoting relations, sending of trainees to training courses and future cooperation between the Myanmar Tatmadaw, the EU Military Committee and the armed forces of the EU member countries.

At the meeting, the Senior General was accompanied by Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Mya Tun Oo, senior military officers and Myanmar Ambassador to Belgium U Paw Lwin Sein. Also present at the call together with the EU Military Committee Chairman were EU Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Roland Kobia and officials.

After the meeting, the Senior General and the EU Military Committee Chairman exchanged gifts and posed for documentary photo together with attendees.
