Senior General Min Aung Hlaing cordially greets Ambassador of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar H.E. Mr. Kim Sok Chol at the Bayintnaung villa in Nay Pyi Taw.

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Ambassador of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar H.E. Mr. Kim Sok Chol at the Bayintnaung villa in Nay Pyi Taw at 10.30 am yesterday.
They exchanged views on participation of the Tatmadaw in reform process and eternal peacemaking process in Myanmar, friendly relations between the two countries and security measures, peace and stability issues of the Korean Peninsula.
Also present at the meeting together with the Senior General were Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in- Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win and Lt-Gen Mya Tun Oo of the Office of the Commanderin- Chief (Army).
The DPRK Ambassador was accompanied by officials.
