Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation led by Vice Admiral Bimal K Verma, AVSM, Commander in Chief of Andaman and Nicobar Command from the Indian Navy, at the Parlour of Zeyathiri Villa, here, this evening.
Both sides cordially exchanged views on cooperation between the armed forces of Myanmar and India in Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) sectors, cooperation in naval exercises between the Myanmar navy and the Indian navy, the exchange of visits between naval vessels and promoting relations and cooperation between the two armed forces in other sectors.
Also present at the call together with the Senior General were Lt- Gen Soe Htut from the Office of Commander-in-Chief (Army), Chief of Staff (Navy) Rear-Admiral Moe Aung and senior military officers. Vice Admiral Bimal K Verma, AVSM was accompanied by Indian Defence Attaché to Myanmar Col. Naveen Mahajan and officials.
