Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla and party attend dinner hosted by Chairman of Nippon Foundation Mr. Yohei SASAKAWA aboard the river cruise in Smida Gawa River.

The Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, currently in Japan for paying a goodwill visit,was hosted a dinner by Chairman of Nippon Foundation Mr. Yohei SASAKAWA aboard the river cruise in Smida Gawa River yesterday evening.
Also present at the dinner together with the Senior General were wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, Lt-Gen Soe Htut of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), senior military officers, Myanmar Ambassador to Japan U Thurein Thant Zin and wife,Myanmar Military Attaché (Army,Navy and Air) Brig-Gen Saw Min and wife. The Chairman of Nippon Foundation was accompanied by Executive Director Mr. Yuji MORI of Nippon Foundation, Retired Japanese Minister of Defense Mr.Yasukazu HAMADA, Retired Lt. Gen. Yamaguchi Noboru of Japanese Ground Self-Defense Forces (JGSDF) and officials of Japan-Myanmar Friendship Association.
After having the dinner aboard the river cruise together, the Senior General and party enjoyed beautiful night scenes of Tokyo from the river cruise. After the dinner, the Senior General and wife, and the Chairman of Nippon Foundation exchanged commemorative gifts.
Later, the Chairman of Nippon Foundation presented gifts to those present.
