Senior General Min Aung Hlaing meets vice-president of the European Parliament

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing receives Mr. Alexander Graf Lambsdorff, 

vice-president of the EuropeanParliament and head of the European Union Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) at Bayintnaung villa.

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Mr. Alexander Graf Lambsdorff, vice-president of the European Parliament and head of the European Union Election Senior General Min Aung Hlaing meets vice-president of the European Parliament Observation Mission (EU EOM) at Bayintnaung villa, here at 9 am yesterday.

Also present at the call together with the Senior General were Deputy Commander- in-Chief of Defence Services Commanderin- Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win and senior military officers from the Office of the Commanderin- Chief (Army). Mr. Alexander Graf Lambsdorff was accompanied by H.E. Mr. Roland KOBIA, the EU ambassador to Myanmar.

At the meeting, both sides cordially exchanged views on the army’s role in holding a free and fair election.

After the call, the Senior General, Mr. Alexander Graf Lambsdorff and party posed for documentary photos.
