Senior General Min Aung Hlaing meets Ambassador of Japan H.E. Mr. Ichiro MARUYAMA.

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Ambassador of Japan to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Ichiro MARUYAMA at the parlour of Bayintnaung Villa , here,this afternoon. 

Also present at the meeting together with the Senior General were Lt-Gen Soe Htut and senior military offi cers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army). The Japanese ambassador was accompanied by officials.

Bilateral talks were centred on the Japanese aid for the Rakhine issue, Japanese assistance for the development of regions that signed the Nationwide Ceasefi re Agreement, and promotion of friendly ties between the two countries and the two armed forces.
