Senior General Min Aung Hlaing receives Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey H.E. Mr. Mevlut Cavusoglu at Zeyathiri Parlour in Nay Pyi Taw.

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey H.E. Mr. Mevlut Cavusoglu at Zeyathiri Parlour here at 2 pm yesterday.

At the call, views on the promotion of military relations between the two countries, strengthening of cooperation in non-military areas, aid program for Rakhine region, peace and national reconciliation process of Myanmar, and the many sacrifices made by the Tatmadaw for national reforms and further consolidating of the adopted democracy were exchanged in a cordial atmosphere. 

Also present at the call together with the Senior General were senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army). And Turkish Foreign Minister was accompanied by Ambassador of Turkey to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Murat Yavuz Ates, Assistant Foreign Minister H.E. Mr. Umit Yalcm and officials.
