Civilian injured by KIA/TNLA/ MNDAA troops

A civilian farmer was injured after he was fired upon by combined troops from the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA), the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) and the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) in Kutkai, Shan State, on Tuesday, according to the Information Committee of the State Counsellor’s Office yesterday.

U Yan Phar, 43, of Mansar Village, Kutkai Township, was attacked by the troops on his way back home on his motorbike from his tea plantation. The villager was shot in the left leg and was taken to Lashio People’s Hospital, where he continues to receive medical care.
