Senior General Min Aung Hlaing receives New Zealand Ambassador


Senior General Min Aung Hlaing holds talks with Ambassador of New Zealand to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Steve Marshall.

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Ambassador of New Zealand to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Steve Marshall at the parlour of Bayintnaung Villa here at 3 pm yesterday.

Also present at the call together with the Senior General were Lt-Gen Soe Htut of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and senior military officers.

Both sides cordially discussed promotion of relations between the two countries while the ambassador was serving his duties, technological development in the areas such as dairy cow breeding and manufacturing dairy products and conducting research on malaria and tuberculosis drug resistance, exchange of visits between high ranking delegates and promotion of relations and cooperation by holding meetings between the two armed forces.

They also exchanged views on Myanmar’s continued relationship with all global countries as well as the Myanmar Tatmadaw’s extended ties with international armed forces, tasks to be carried out in Myanmar’s peace-keeping process and mine clearing.
