The Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing who is on an official goodwill visit to Germany visited GROB Aircraft Company in Memmingen Town of Germany at 10.30 am local standard time on 29 April.
On arrival at Memmingen Airport, the Senior General and party were welcomed by Chief Executive Officer Mr. Andre Hiebeler of GROB Aircraft Company and party. They proceeded to GROB Aircraft Company in Matssies region near Memmingen Town by helicopter.
At GROB Aircraft Company, Chief Executive Officer Mr. Andre Hiebeler extended greetings and explained tasks being carried out by the company, high technologyapplied airspace, ground and water surface intelligence networks, and manufacturing of aircraft through power point presentation.
Then, the Senior General and party observed production processes of aircraft including moulding and assembling of aircraft engines,bodies and wings. Officials conducted them round the workplace.
Next, the Senior General and party viewed demonstration on fl ying of G-120 TP and G-520 T aircraft and observed GROB Reconnaissance System and Flight Simulator Demonstration.
Later, the Senior General and the CEO of GROB Aircraft Company exchanged emblems and commemorative gifts.
