Senior General Min Aung Hlaing inspects Yadanarbon Daily


Senior General Min Aung Hlaing hears reports on working processes of Yadanarbon Daily presented by an off icial.

Correctness and swiftness is the value of news. The daily must carry news that is accurate, public interesting and beneficial and the scoop. News and printing quality must be good. The newspaper must reach every reader every morning, said Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing during his inspection of Yadanarbon Daily yesterday afternoon.

The Senior General accompanied by Commander-in- Chief (Navy) Admiral Tin Aung San, Commander-in- Chief (Air) General Khin Aung Myint, senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and the commander of Central Command inspected the daily yesterday afternoon.

At the meeting hall, the Senior General and party heard a report on the daily’s publication presented by the chief editor. The Senior General said reporters of the daily should strive to gather and report news from more regions, take the responsibility and accountability of their news reports, and feature a wider variety of public interesting sectors. He looked into the requirements.

Officials then conducted the Senior General and party round the daily. The Senior General presented cash awards for the staff of the daily.
