Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla meet family members of Myanmar Embassy and Military Attaché Office


The Senior General and wife present gifts, foodstuffs and cash assistance for staff and family members of Myanmar Embassy and Military Attaché Office.

A Myanmar military delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla who arrived in Lao People’s Democratic Republic to attend the 13th ASEAN Chiefs of Defence Forces Informal Meeting- 13th ACDFIM visited the residence of the Myanmar Ambassador to Laos at 12 noon today after inspecting the land plot for construction of the Myanmar Military Attaché Office to Laos in the morning.

The Senior General and wife cordially greeted families of Myanmar Embassy and Military Attaché Office and scholarship Myanmar students at the parlour of the ambassador’s residence.

At the meeting, the Senior General said that Myanmar is sharing border with Laos in territorial land, waters and air space. It needs to develop trade sector as well as further promote friendly relations between the two nations and two armed forces. It is necessary to improve tourism industry. The Senior General invited reports on assignments of embassy staff, social disciplines, family health and education sectors and good suggestions to promote friendly ties and cooperation between the two countries.

The Senior General and wife presented gifts, foodstuffs and cash assistance for staff and family members of Myanmar Embassy and Military Attaché Office, and Myanmar scholarship students to the ambassador, the military attaché, embassy family members and students.

The family members of the Myanmar Embassy and Military Attaché Office hosted a lunch to the Myanmar military delegation led by the Senior General and wife. (100)
